Found something wrong? Tell us. It is how this index earns trust.
A correction is not an admission of failure. Employers change, evidence ages, and we miss things. Anyone who spots a claim that no longer holds, whether an employer, an employee, or a candidate, can flag it here in a few minutes.
Who can submit one
Anyone with a specific claim and a reason to doubt it. You do not need to be the employer of record. A current or former employee who knows the payroll policy changed, a candidate who found a stale job posting, or the employer itself correcting our record: all of these are valid, and all go through the same process.
What to include
- The employer. The exact name as it appears on the index, or a link to the listing.
- The claim. Which signal or statement is wrong or out of date, quoted or described precisely.
- The evidence. Whatever supports your correction: a link, a document, a screenshot with context, or a description of where we can verify it independently.
A correction with no evidence still gets logged, but it will not move a record to Disputed on its own; it opens a review, not an automatic change. Evidence is what moves the needle.
What happens next
We triage every submission within a reasonable window, typically a few business days. If the claim is credible and unresolved, the affected record moves to Disputed while we look into it, and that status is visible on the record itself. Once the evidence settles the question, we publish a dated fix. Where it matters to the reader, we preserve what the record said before the correction, alongside the update, so the change itself is part of the public history.
We do not quietly edit a finding and pretend it always read that way. A correction leaves a visible trail: what changed, and when.
